CANTEEN INFORMATION
Empire Catering provides the canteen services to the Gold Creek senior site and the Gold Creek junior site. Empire Catering has been operating for several years, servicing government, catholic and independent schools. We also cater for private functions, meetings, conferences and parties.
The Senior Site Canteen is open:
Monday to Thursday at Break 1: 11:06am - 11:36am and Break 2: 1:32am - 2:02pm
Friday at Break 1: 10:51am - 11:21am and Break 2: 1:17pm - 1:47pm
Students and staff are able to utilise the canteen facilities and purchase their lunch and can also place their lunch orders online at www.flexischools.com.au.
The Junior Site Canteen is opened from Tuesday to Friday 9am till 2:00pm
Students and staff are able to purchase items from the canteen and lunch orders are to be placed online at www.flexischools.com.au.
Junior Site Over the Counter Sales - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Break 1 Only
Our aim is to provide quality and nutritional home cooked meals for students. Our menu will constantly be changing until we reach this goal. Little by little we will be removing the pre-packaged food items and replacing them with nutritional restaurant grade home cooked meals.
Empire Catering will be bringing some new flavours to the menu this year as they continue working to ‘Green up’ the food choices available at the canteen. The Empire team is being assisted by the YMCA through their Nutri-Y’s project – supporting schools to have viable canteens that meet the ACT Public School Food and Drink Policy.
Changes to the menu will be implemented slowly as we modify recipes to increase the nutritional value of some of our regular items and remove some of our less healthy choices.
By placing your order online through Flexischools you will ensure that you are ordering off the current menu.
